Vallejo ferry updates for April

A message from San Francisco Bay Ferry on March 31, 2020:

Hello Vallejo ferry commuters. We hope you’re safe and healthy. We wanted to give you a couple of updates on a few items:

  • Our crews are continuing to engage in thorough cleaning of the ferries. This includes nightly disinfectant fogging of vessels in service. We ask that passengers continue to engage in physical distancing with crews and each other in line, on board and when exiting the ferry.
  • The reduced service schedule will remain in effect until further notice. We will post schedule updates at sfbf.mobi/news/shelter.
  • Due to the COVID-19 crisis and to protect staff from exposure, we will not be selling April monthly passes. However, March monthly passes will remain valid through April 10. We encourage all passengers riding the ferry to conduct essential business per the regional shelter-in-place orders to use Clipper or Hopthru the remainder of the month. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out by emailing customerservice@sanfranciscobayferry.com. We’re doing our best to find fair solutions that minimizes risk of exposure to crew and passengers.
  • The April public hearing for the proposed five-year fare program has been cancelled. There will no formal action on fare changes at this time.
  • The Vallejo Ferry Ticket Office remains closed. Bay Crossings is currently closed as well. Passengers should load Clipper fare online at clippercard.com or via phone at 877-878-8883.
