Masks Now Required on Bay Area Ferries

New public health department orders in local counties require masks or face coverings to be worn in public spaces beginning Wednesday, April 22. Public transit is included in these orders and all passengers will be required to wear masks or face coverings while boarding and on board the ferry vessels until further notice.

Passengers are also asked to continue to maintain at least six feet of distance between themselves and crew members or other passengers when queued to board the ferry, on board and when disembarking the ferry. Please note that ferry service is offered for essential travel only while the Bay Area’s shelter in place orders are in effect.
