Climb aboard the classic schooner Seaward and see San Francisco from the water! Take in an unmatched view of the city front as you sail by famous sights such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Angel Island. You can sit back and enjoy the view, or get involved in sailing with the help of our professional crew. Complimentary wine, cheese, and light refreshments will be served. Adults $60, ages 6-12 $30, under 6 free.

Come join expert SUP instructor Jeff Burton for a SUP paddle from Treasure Island to Jack London Square on the Oakland Estuary. Learn about tides, currents, trip planning, communication and safety.  Well meet at CCK Oakland store and shuttle to the island.  Launching from the north point to enjoy spectacular views of the San Francisco bay.  Prerequisite:  SUP 201 or equivalent training: ability to paddle 3 mph comfortably for at least 2 hours. Cost $89.00

This course is a renewal test for the Unlimited Radar Observer renewal for the advanced mariner that does radar plotting on a regular basis. Testing on the first and second triangles and practical plotting on the radar scope (2 tests each) Approximately four (4) hours. SUPing has become incredibly popular in a few short years because it’s so fun, easy, and another GREAT way to get on the water and it’s good for you too. No previous paddling experience is necessary. This 3-hour session in sheltered water will get you Introduced to basic SUP skills and safety. Cost $79.00

Cap off a great day of sailing with delicious food, refreshments and great company. OCSC’s summer member events are an OCSC tradition, and everyone is invited! We’re hosting a BBQ Party from 4pm-6pm and we would love to see you here. Plan on having great music, cold refreshments and good company. We also have volleyball, basketball, frisbee and lots more! These member events are also a good opportunity for anyone who is interested in getting into sailing to learn more about OCSC and all that we have to offer. We offer tours of our fleet and facilities and we’ll be happy to sit down with you and answer all your questions from how to get started with sailing lessons to scheduling and chartering sailboats from us. This course is designed to be a supplement to the basic knot tying skills that are taught in the Basic Keelboat and Crew Courses. It will give you the opportunity to become comfortable with the many knots that are utilized for sailing and allow you the chance to have all your knot-related questions answered. The Able Seaman is an excellent starting point for one wishing to transition into the merchant marines. All those wishing to become upper level deck officers will be required to hold an AB ticket. Leave your mid-week blues at the dock and come out for a rejuvenating, twilight sail on San Francisco Bay. Every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month, members and non-members head out for two hours of sailing, either in chartered boats or with an instructor. Hit the water with old friends or new ones to break up the work week and watch the sun set behind the Golden Gate. Once you dock, shed your foulies and join us in the club room for chili, chowder, and drinks. Each Skippered boat takes up to 6 passengers. No experience required to join in! Do you want to learn to paddle but are not sure where to start? The goal of this 4-hour class will introduce a few basic strokes that are fundamental to all types of kayaking.  You will learn about different types of kayaks. This class focuses on flat water skills and safety for those who want to paddle recreational kayaks! Cost $79.00 No experience necessary.
